So far, my journey to CISM has been rocky. A month has passed, and I’ve only read two chapters from my new book. I also took practice tests (15 questions) at the back of each chapter and got 73% and 60% correct. I wasn’t too concerned after the first chapter score, but I must admit the second score was a bit depressing. I’ve read from other CISM test takers that you should keep taking practice tests until you can consistently score around 80%. At that point, you should be ready. I went on vacation for over a week last month, so it’s been hard to get focused again. I try to study during my work hours, but it’s been difficult to study and get my work done. When I got started around the beginning of August, I thought I could be ready to sit for the exam after a couple months – wow, was I wrong.
